Our Story

Rhino Staging was founded in Arizona in 1991. At that time, the working conditions for stagehands there were poor. Rhino was founded with the simple philosophy of doing things right and treating people well. This was a recipe for success and Rhino’s reputation for professional service and excellent working conditions grew. This has allowed us to become the leading provider of event labor staffing nationwide. We have pioneered many positive changes in the entertainment industry and will continue to lead in safety, training, and professional service.

#ThrowbackThursday to four years ago when the pandemic had made arena shows a thing of the past. These dazzling photos show work in progress on Oct. 17, 2020 for the Billboard Latin Music Awards held four days later at the then BB&T Center (now Amerant Bank Arena) in Sunrise, Florida. Rhino's Regional Director of Operations for the Southeast Mike Simon recalls this as the first arena show after the onset of the pandemic adding, "the situation was quite an eye opener on the outbreak side of things." For that show, Mike and Rhino FL's Asst. Director of Production Alex Moran worked with Rhino's Dir. of Rigging and Safety Matt Hudson to develop a Covid-era working protocol and from that point the wheels of live event production slowly began to turn again. Thank you and well done, Rhinos, for your leadership and perseverance during a difficult period which happily now seems so long passed. ... See MoreSee Less

Rhino Staging Los Angeles was on hand last month at Sunset Studios Glenoaks in Sun Valley, CA to load in/out Paul McCartney for tour rehearsals. McCartney's "Got Back" tour, ongoing since 2022, began a South American leg this week in Montevideo, Uruguay. Will Wilson, Director of Rigging for Rhino in L.A., told us this was the first show to use Stage 4 at this brand new facility. McCartney also recently conducted band rehearsals at CenterStaging's Burbank facility, where Rhino's L.A. office is located and provides labor support for all rehearsals that require it. So, yeah, Rhino's got your back, Sir Paul. 🙂 ... See MoreSee Less

The dog days of summer have ended (so long, Sirius!), but down Louisiana way the heat and humidity linger on. So it's more than just a nicety to have your friends looking out for you with snow cones, ice cream and iced coffee the way ASM Global has been doing this summer at the Smoothie King Center and Caesars Superdome. This lagniappe, as Rhino Staging Louisiana's Director of Operations Ray Cullen called this act of kindness, is most welcome by the crews and helps to keep spirits high. Abby Jones, ASM New Orleans Director of Sales & Marketing, told us, "I always try to include the Rhino team since they are the ones up in the rafters and pulling the all-nighters!" Thank you, Abby and ASM, you are appreciated! ... See MoreSee Less
